The Golf Club features a championship 18 hole course in a beautiful setting.

Some of the local events and attractions are the Jazz Festival (January and February); Market Day, a giant flea market (1st Saturday of each month, April - December); 4th of July Rodeo; and Christmas in the Hills (November - December).

If water sports are in your dreams - boating, fishing, swimming or diving - Canyon Lake or one of the many rivers in the area are available. In San Marcos, visit WonderWorld Park Texas, one of the most visited caves in the country, or glide across Spring Lake in a glass bottom boat at Aquarena Center. In nearby New Braunfels, visit Schlitterbahn Waterpark, a place for the entire family to get wet.
